This scholarship has been established byWilliam McKeein memory of his late parents to benefit students undertaking studies inMathematics.
One scholarship is available to a student in their third year of any of the following programs at theUniversity of Adelaide:
- Bachelorof Mathematical Sciences; or
- Bachelor of Mathematical Sciences (Advanced); or
- Bachelor of Mathematical andComputerSciences
Students must be undertaking study on a full time basis at theUniversity of Adelaide.
Students must be majoring in Mathematics subjects relevant to the physical and biological sciences as determined by the Head of School of Mathematics (or nominee).
The scholarship is valued at $5,000 for one year.
This scholarship is available to both domestic andinternationalstudents.
Selection of the successful candidate will be based on academic merit.
Academic merit will be determined according to applicants' Grade Point Average [GPA] for level 2 Maths subjects.
Students in receipt of other major University of Adelaide scholarships may apply for this scholarship.
The Scholarship must be taken up in the year in which it is offered; acceptance of the Scholarship offer cannot be deferred. If a student declines the Scholarship offer, the Scholarship will be offered to the next eligible student.
